About Us Bion Biometrics is committed to making global biometric standards a reality. Our consultants assist governments, international organizations, and biometric companies in the development, deployment, and testing of biometric standards and systems. We understand today’s biometric standards and how they will change in the future. This knowledge has been gained through active involvement in international standards organizations, including ISO, INCITS, ICAO, and ILO. Furthermore, we understand the technological and practical challenges facing integrators and end users, especially in terms of physical and data interoperability. Armed with this knowledge, we provide government agencies, integrators, and vendors with a full suite of testing and standards solutions, encompassing conformance, interoperability, and performance assessment. We provide clients with an independent verification that the biometric products and systems that are being developed or used are standards conformant. And with the launch of BionCTS, we are now placing the power of conformance testing right into the hands of our clients. Bion Biometrics is the official testing laboratory for biometric products to be used with the globally interoperable Seafarers’ Identity Documents (SID) program, which is managed by the International Labour Organization (ILO).
