The ILO SID Approved Product List enables buyers, integrator and end-users to easily identify those biometric products that meet the requirements of the ILO Convention No. 185 and ILO SID-0002. Products on the list have passed an independent test for conformance, performance and interoperability, thereby eliminating the need for additional product evaluation during the procurement process.
For vendors, being on the Approved Products List is not only a basic requirement for selling ILO SID related biometric products, but it can also reduce the need to independently qualify a product for each buyer. This will reduce cost, shorten the sales cycle, and speed up the deployment of biometric technologies.
